About
My name is Doru Bem, and I am a professional Romanian actor based in Bucharest.
Since 2017, I have been a permanent member of the acting ensemble at Excelsior Theatre in Bucharest. I have extensive experience in theatre, feature films, television series, and commercials, portraying a wide range of characters.
My career highlights include the Best Actor Award at the Sarajevo Film Festival 2024 for my leading role in Holy Week, the UCIN Best Leading Actor Award 2025, and a Best Actor nomination at the Gopo Awards 2025.
I am interested in international film, television, and commercial projects and am available for self-tape auditions and filming abroad.
